How They're Installed
Liing and Liingo are infant car seats designed for use during your child's first year, and are installed in rear-facing configuration only.
Liing includes a Clek Infant Car Seat Base, which installs in seconds and is engineered with advanced safety features like an adjustable metal load leg, rigid-LATCH (UAS) installation, a 7-way recline angle adjuster with indicator bubble, and a belt tensioning system for installations where LATCH (UAS) is unavailable.
Liing can also be installed without the base, using the vehicle's seatbelt.

Liingo is a baseless (carrier only) infant car seat. It’s flexible LATCH (UAS) connectors are stored in a removable bin, giving you the choice between a secure LATCH (UAS) installation or the Euro Belt Path installation method (which we recommend, as it offers superior crash performance). With the bin removed.
Liingo is compatible with the Clek Infant Car Seat Base, which is available for purchase as an accessory should your needs change down the road.
How They're Adjusted
A newborn requires a semi-reclined position - anywhere between a 40° to 45° angle - when travelling in a car seat. This is for both safety and comfort, as their undeveloped neck muscles are unable to keep their head in the correct position.
A poor installation angle can cause more than just discomfort. Should their chin fall to their chest, your newborn's airway can become pinched off, restricting breathing and putting their health at risk.
Liing's included base offers up to 7 recline positions (adjustable after installation) and a trusty bubble indicator to let you know EXACTLY where your baby needs to be to ensure a proper installation angle.
Liingo does NOT include an adjustable recline (it's positioned manually when securing with either the LATCH belt or seatbelt)
